Doctor Hooker lives in Sanford, North Carolina with his wife, a pediatrician, and their two children. He has completed fellowship training in orthopaedic surgical conditions of the shoulder and elbow. In addition, he has a special interest in sports related injuries. Doctor Hooker was a Varsity Letterman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a member of the 1991 National Lacrosse Championship Team. Doctor Hooker will commence practice in Sanford in February, 2009.
