BCBSNC Blue Value Plan
CCOA is now a proud member of the UNC Health Alliance. As a participant in the UNC Health Alliance, our practice locations in both Sanford and Pittsboro are now in-network providers for the BCBSNC Blue Value Plan for all services we provide. In addition to the BCBSNC Blue Value Plan, our practice is also a Domestic Tier provider (Tier 1) for UNC’s Affiliate Employee Health Plan, a UMR contract that is covered under the United Health Care agreement.
Members under both the BCBS Blue Value Plan and the UNC Affiliate Employee Health Plan are strongly encourage to seek care from UNC Health Alliance practices for a favorable copay due to lower out of pocket expenses. As Alliance members, we welcome the opportunity to provide high-quality, cost-effective orthopaedic care to individuals covered under these plans, as well as all other plans our practice participates in.
BCBS Blue Physician Recognition Tier 1
Central Carolina Orthopaedic Associates is proud to have received the Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Physician Recognition Tier 1 status for the 5th year in a row. Blue Physician Recognition Tier 1 status identifies CCOA as a “Low Cost & High Quality” orthopaedic provider under BCBSNC’s Cost & Quality Designation. We are proud of this recognition as it shows our continued commitment to delivering quality and patient-centered care right here in our own community.
Insurances Accepted
Central Carolina Orthopaedic Associates, PLLC accepts all major insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, and Medicaid. Worker's Compensation
If you have any questions regarding our Worker's Compensation Program, please call our office and ask to speak with a billing representative. We will work closely with the injured patient, case manager, insurance carrier, and employer. Case Managers are welcome to attend appointments.
